As the Covid situation is ever changing, we are keeping the safety and well-being of our dancers, families, and staff at utmost importance.
As of Monday, September 13, 2021, Take Five Dance Academy will again offer Zoom in the classrooms of our Young Children's classes (ages 3-5), Primary level (ages 6-7), Elementary A level (ages 8-11) and Secondary A level (ages 12+) classes in our studio. As we still believe that “in person” classes offer the best training for dancers, we understand that there may be some “quarantine” or other issues that could keep students at home.
Elementary and Secondary B, C level classes will not be on Zoom. In person class attendance is important for intermediate and advanced level dancers and acrobats.
In addition, the Performing Groups and Performance Companies are at the height of learning routines to perform at upcoming events, the holiday shows and competitions. Therefore, these classes will not be on Zoom.
• Mask wearing is optional for dancers, studio families, staff and faculty. It is encouraged for anyone not fully vaccinated.
• Our benches will be open in our lobbies.
TFDA follows the More Than Just Great Dancing!® Safer Studio™ Guidelines which prioritize a hierarchy of safety and wellness measures including:
• Wellness checks for staff
• Frequent hand hygiene
• Enhanced cleaning procedures
• Curricular and facility adjustments
• Continuous parent communications
Take Five Dance Academy is committed to continuing to play a proactive role to support and encourage community health, especially for our kids and faculty.
