Fab Fives, Funky Fives, Fancy Fives, and High Fives are a part of our special non-competitive Performing Groups. This program is designed for dancers who love to perform and who desire to polish their performing skills through community performances. Dancers audition for these groups in the Spring and must be of age by September 1st.
Fab Fives (ages 5-7) is a high energy, non-competitive, performing group for dancers who love to perform. All participants will get the opportunity to perform in community performances. Our goal is to have 3-5 performances between the months of October - May. Be a part of a team of friends who love to dance!
Funky Fives (ages 6+) is an enthusiastic, non-competitive program designed for dancers who love to perform and who desire to strengthen their Hip Hop performing skills through community performances. Our goal is to have 3-5 performances between the months of October - May. These dancers work hard and enjoy being a part of an awesome Hip Hop crew!
Fancy Fives (ages 6+) is a specialized, non-competitive program designed for dancers who love to perform and who desire to strengthen their Acro performing skills through community performances. Our goal is to have 2-3 performances between the months of December - May. This group will perform without mats and only on a stage setting for community performances. These dancers love Acro and being a part of a team setting!
High Fives (ages 8+) is a fun, non-competitive program designed for dancers who love to perform and who desire to polish their performing skills through community performances. Our goal is to have 3-5 performances between the months of October - May. All participants are a part of a team of friends where everyone strives to be the best they can be!
Mini Ensemble, Youth Ensemble, Acro Ensemble, Acro Elite, Jr. Element Hip Hop Crew, Fifth Element Hip Hop Crew, and 3 levels of Company make up our Performance Company. They are intermediate and advanced, competitive programs that dancers audition for in the Spring. Class requirements are based on a dancer’s assigned level and must be of age by September 1st.
These dancers take Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Pointe and Technique.
The Mini Ensemble (ages 8-11) is a beginning level performing group that is designed to give
dancers a chance to compete and perform outside of the yearly June production. This special group was created in order to give our young dancers additional opportunities to expand their dance training and love for dance, with only a small amount of time and financial commitments involved.
The Youth Ensemble (ages 12-18) is an intermediate level performing group that is designed to give dancers a chance to compete and perform outside of the yearly June production. This special group was created in order to give our young dancers additional opportunities to expand their dance training and love for dance, with only a small amount of time and financial commitments involved.
The Acro Ensemble (ages 8+) is an intermediate level performing company that is designed to give dancers a chance to compete and perform outside of the yearly June production. This special Acro group was created in order to give our dancers additional opportunities to expand their dance training and love for Acro, with only a small amount of time and financial
commitments involved.
Acro Elite (ages 8+) is an advanced level performing company designed for acrobats seeking to challenge and refine their acrobatic
and performance abilities.
The Jr. Element Hip Hop Crew (ages 8+) is a program for talented and dedicated individuals who want to do more than an hour of Hip Hop each week and who are looking for opportunities to perform Hip Hop Choreography. This group of dancers will perform at community shows, attend dance conventions, master classes and
compete.
The Fifth Element Hip Hop Crew (ages 12+) is a program with talented and dedicated individuals who outside of recitals, are looking for opportunities to perform Hip Hop Choreography.
Dancers must be enrolled in/promoted to a Level C Hip Hop class. Fifth Element will perform at community shows, attend dance conventions, master classes and compete.
The Company class curriculum is an “advanced placement” program, designed for the serious student who, along with their academic responsibilities, possesses a desire
to make dance training a priority. Company dancers are given various performance opportunities, in addition to participation in dance conventions, competitions, and festivals.
As a reminder, audition results are final. Students are welcome to ask for written feedback for improvement. However, requests for a re-evaluation of placement by either students or parents,
will not be accepted. If we need to make any adjustments to groupings, we will do so based on what we see developmentally and at our discretion.
